Extreme Chess

This game is a submission to the first GMTK jam.

Title: Extreme Chess

Description: Using the framework of chess we created a fresh singleplayer experience with new mechanics

Theme: In extreme chess, everything based on the energy system. Moving takes energy, but the player can gain energy through actions like landing on key spaces, ending the turn with few moves, and capturing enemies. This creates a system that is simple to learn, yet deep and fun to play.

Platforms: PC, mac, and linux

We used the Unity Engine with music from DjtheSdotCom and sprites from GamePlan
